Happy (belated) New Year!

So, as was probably obvious, I ended up taking a bit of a long break after my last video/ post simply because November and December seemed to just bring about a stream of issues and setbacks (and Christmas wasn’t one of them hilariously). But a lot of stuff happened all at once and so I didn’t have the time, resources, or energy to post a video or write a blog entry due to it all.

In summary, my partner and I, alongside our 3rd flatmate, were kicked out of our flat/ not allowed to renew contract due to the landlord not wanting to deal with extra costs of changing rules in housing.

I also lost my case visiting his family so I am also down on a bunch of my belongings – including my newly started bullet journal which is a bummer. There were also problems with money and benefits and fitness assessments galore which were depressing to do (listing out every mental and physical issue that you have doesn’t make you feel good -who knew) especially as I didn’t quite get the verdict that I was expecting out of it.

So I am currently back up in the countryside with my partner as we’ve had to move into my parents house for as long as it takes for us to find a new place to rent back down in the city – or at least closer to it. I had a video filmed but I have yet to do the voice-over though I’m not sure if I will work on that one as it was a bullet journal set up for December and that month is over and so the content is out of date – though it is a lot of footage so maybe I will do the voice-over at some point in the future, who knows.

Hopefully 2022 gives me the fresh start that I dearly need after the fire that was autumn/ winter 2021 and that I will be able to stick to regular uploads of both videos and blog posts soon.

Wishing everyone a happy and fulfilling 2022.

  1. I am curious to find out what blog platform you have been utilizing? I’m having some small security issues with my latest blog and I’d like to find something more secure. Do you have any suggestions?

    1. I’ve just been using WordPress for my blogging but I’m not sure if there’s something in the settings that could be changed to make things more secure? I’m not too knowledgeable about these things so I’ve just been using the default WordPress and hoping for the best. Sorry I couldn’t be more help
