I finally did it š„³šāļø
After having finished writing my first draft over two years ago, it has taken so long to drag myself back to editing it, only managing a little bit here and there.
But #campnanowrimo was the boost that I needed to get over the finish line at last! I have finally finished editing my first draft of my children’s novel that I started writing when I left uni five years ago, and had in my head many years before. It has taken a long time to get to this point – as the stress of life and the busyness of staying alive got in the way more often than it should have done – but I am proud of myself for finally crossing off another step towards my dream of publication.
I know that I will need to do more edits to it to make it publishable, but for now I am going to bask in this certificate and the dopamine it creates šš
