REVIEW
I’ve always been interested in the artists of the Italian Renaissance to a degree but I had never thought about the book publishers and producers of that time until now. Vespasiano had such an impact from his love of all books and his desire to make the most beautiful books at the highest quality for his clients to the point where he was commissioning books for popes and kings. Brilliantly written about a brilliant man and I’m curious about others involved in the Renaissance behind the scenes that we’ve never been taught before.
