REVIEW

This was such an interesting book to read. As a chronic user of notebooks myself, it was so fascinating to find out where the idea of the notebook came from, who made it popular and what functions it has been used for since.

Roland Allen’s writing style is educational with the occasional comedic one liner which relates to the topic and shows off his love for the topic.

It was interesting to have a timeline but also an assortment of different places and uses and how they coincided with history and the way that things happened with examples for each topic highlighting how useful and important notebooks can be.
