REVIEW

It is fascinating to learn about the amount the amount of blurring of the cultures and religions of Rome ad Britain and how the introduction of Latin and literacy allowed for at least some hint of local British deities to be remembered by descendants of this land.

The merging of deities and combining their names was also interesting as well as the use of curse requests and the give and take relationship that the ancients had with their deities rather than praying blindly people would trade wishes for offerings.

Quite well rounded and interesting, though I wish it went into a bit more detail on each point, even if it would have doubled the size of the book, I think it would have been worth it.
