REVIEW

A really interesting set of folktales that have been used to explain the formation of Britain.

The writing style is one that makes the style of the era that these myths date from with their matter-of-fact storytelling and mundane tones explaining what we would class as magical.

Jeff’s explanations of where each story comes from added a nice historical touch that brings it out of the fiction section and into history and culture.

This is what our ancestors believed or at least told each other and is a form of sociological history and should be treated as such.
