REVIEW
So I made notes throughout my reading of this book which did make the reading journey a lot longer but I’m glad that I did.
It was a very interesting read and there were a lot of facts that should be more common knowledge, especially in areas where people think that they are being helpful are making things worse or how they don’t matter bit people concentrate on them too much.
It was slightly wounding to see that organic and local don’t necessarily mean better ecologically, but she does mention that it depends on what you care about and so there is still a place for them in your green journey. It talks about other things that I was already aware of such as Beef and meat production being one of the worst offenders for CO2 levels but others that I hadn’t thought about.
But it does show that things can change such as clean energy becoming cheaper and charities cleaning plastic out of the ocean.
The phrase “we have options” made me have more hope as I can still vote and spend my money wisely and make better choices going forwards.
