REVIEW

As a lover of Winter, Ice and the Cold have always fascinated me. It was interesting to read about all the different ways we have used ice throughout the centuries and the different people who ice has influenced to travel, to hike, to experiment, to paint, and to write.

And as I expected, the book ends with the overuse of, and yet forgetting of ice and the melting that we are causing with our ironic obsession with cooling things down.

Overall, a superb book and very well written.
