This was a really interesting book exploring the actual facts and figures around climate change. The author breaks these down so we can pinpoint exactly humanity is the cause of it, what these impacts have done, what will happen if we do nothing, and what can happen if we stopped our impact.
I did find the figures of if we stopped quite scary as we will still cause damage from the impact that we’ve already had on the climate, but it is nowhere near as bad as if we continue business as usual.
The only places where he lost me was where he included equations and letter replacement and I would look at it blankly and read on, hoping for an explanation. There was one to explain the effect but not the equation itself unfortunately. However I do know that there’s only so much you can ‘dumb down’ physics and there were explanations given for the important information so I was okay with that.
