A fantastic Queer horror story. I loved how religion was fused with body horror and found families.
I read most of it in one go and I actually liked the open ending as often I do not but it worked well with the story that was being told. The ‘plague’ and the ‘monsters’ in the world building of this apocalypse setting were truly fascinating and I struggled to out the book down it was so gripping. I always wanted to know what happened next.
