This was such a heart-warming story that I read it all in one sitting.
Rebel is such a good dog and I love the lengths he will go to to save his boy, even if it puts him so far away from home and into so many dangers. He meets a colourful cast of animal characters along the way on his journey and I love how they didn’t force the wilder characters to change by the end of the book for a ‘smoother ending’.
It was a beautifully written children’s novel about friendship and loyalty and a very good dog.
