Wow -what a prequel! I loved it so much. The characters, the plot, the setting – everything. Even the twists which are often hit or miss for me. I expected the romantic interest to be someone else than who it ended up being but, once I adjusted, I loved it and much preferred the friendship that was developed instead. This is a brilliant cosy fantasy and makes me want to read the original Legends and Lattes again – especially with the epilogue this book has.
