REVIEW

I’ve always been fascinated by medieval royals and queens specifically so reading about two as famous as Anne Boleyn and Elizabeth I was as epic and fraught with danger as I assumed it would be.

There were so many details about both women that I had never heard of and it was touching to hear about all the ways that the two women were connected.

Beautifully told and carefully analysed, this is a brilliant history book and one I read quite quickly and rarely put it down.
