REVIEW
The writing was not the strongest but that is probably due to the fact that it is a novelisation of a film and so a script turned into prose and I have not watched the film so I won’t feel its full effect.
However, I still enjoyed the beautiful sad story that was told. And one that sounds like something that could unfortunately happen to poets who are stifled by those who want a different path for them, squashed by the threat of monotony before they can thrive.
