REVIEW

This was a brilliant book about an interesting, complicated, and nuanced topic. AI does not scare me but I am aware that it does need to keep humans in the loop. It was good to read a book on AI that was down to earth, factual, understandable, and not fearmongering.

The author is someone who works in the industry and the book goes into the history, mechanics, and ethics of AI, as well as it’s future and what it can do for us.

She makes a lot of good and well-researched points and, though this book may be a little out of date as it is from 2019 and the technology is constantly updating, it is still a brilliant guide to the worlds of machine learning.
