REVIEW
So as a pure ‘correct’ book of ‘scientific fact’ this is not the best. There are a lot of gaps that she fills in with theories – which she does acknowledge as theories to be fair – and some I disagree with.
But the parts which are rooted in fact are interesting and though she is not a biologist herself, the size of the bibliography means that she tried to research as widely as possible.
I like this book for the main fact that it is starting a conversation about the nature of human evolution and how the female body needs to be acknowledged as a bigger part of that.
I have marked it fairly low as it markets itself as a scientist’s book which it is not, but it is a good starting point for an interesting discussion.
