REVIEW
This was a really compelling book which talks about using ambition towards moral means such as solving world problems instead of making the rich richer or other such jobs.
He gives good examples of people who have done good with the ambition that they have, but I felt like he didn’t spend enough time or emphasis on the negative side such as burnout and overwhelm from the amount and size of these problems.
I was glad for the epilogue which was a chapter about working within your means and talents as a lot of the examples he used were from similar wealthier walks of life. I do however think the message was too far through the book as, if I hadn’t stuck it out til the end, I would have felt more helpless than ambitious with all the problems that I could and therefore according to the book should be solving with money and talent from somewhere.
Overall though this was a very thought provoking book that should be read til the end.
