REVIEW
This was a pleasant book to read. It was humorous but still informative book about Bluestockings who were a movement of women and girls who fought for their chance to have an education.
The women and gils are seen as pioneers, though their opinions and behaviours may seem odd to us today.
The author gives us this information alongside humorous remarks and more context which creates a curious, welcome, and empowering experience of reading about the foremothers of education and the effort they put in to create a different path for themselves and future generations.
It has made me grateful for the ease at which I personally could attend further education thanks to the women that Robinson describes.
