REVIEW
I have always loved old clocks and watches (even if I suck at owning them) and so this was a great read.
I loved the contrast of the overall history of watch making mixed with the personal history of the author herself who is one of the only traditional watchmakers left (especially one of the only women) and it was interesting to hear her perspective on history and her own experiences with watches that have come into her workshop.
Well written and illuminating I was truly never bored and the littering of added footnotes meant that I was kept out of the dark in terms of jargon and historic tidbits.
